Painting is more than just a hobby for me, it is a way to express how passionate I am about wildlife and
their preservation. This topic is also bringing African Wildlife to those who do not want to travel to see it, or those
who just love African animals.
I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. I moved to the USA in 1993, and love being here. The only thing
I am homesick for is the animals, landscapes and sunsets. Having grown up in a country where the wildlife and landscapes I
depict in my sketches and paintings were prevelant, I thought it would be best to stick to what I knew best. I hope I can
convay the feeling of Africa through my art to all who enjoy the "safari feeling"!
